What is a good internet speed?
About 25 Mbps is comfortable for 4K streaming and video calls. A home with several people, large downloads, or online gaming often benefits from 100 Mbps or more.
Why is my result different from my internet plan?
Wi-Fi distance, other devices, VPNs, browser activity, and the route to the test server can all affect a result. Pause large transfers and test near your router or on a wired connection for a clearer measurement.
Is Wi-Fi slower than a wired connection?
Wi-Fi can be affected by distance, walls, interference, and nearby networks. A wired Ethernet connection usually offers the most consistent result, especially when you are testing a fast connection.
What is ping and why does it matter?
Ping is the time it takes for your connection to receive a response from a server. Lower ping helps online gaming, video calls, and other real-time activities feel more responsive.
